Wel zo Roze has been officially established

An important milestone: Stichting Wel zo Roze has been officially established. This lays the foundation for an organisation that wants to strengthen well-being, safety and connection for LGBTQI+ people in Amsterdam.

We're now building on the next step. We're currently working on ANBI status and on applications to funds and grant providers. With that support we want to further develop meetups, the buddy program and shelter initiatives.

Volunteers wanted for meetups

Would you like to help with activities where people can meet each other, share stories and build new connections?

For our meetups we're looking for volunteers who enjoy bringing people together. Think of shared meals, coffee mornings, outings and small-scale activities where everyone feels welcome.

You don't need any experience — commitment, warmth and an open attitude matter most. Together we'll look at what suits your time, energy and interests.

Working together on safe shelter

Wel zo Roze is looking for partners and committed people who want to think along about appropriate shelter and guidance.

For LGBTQI+ youth, status holders and young people in acute unsafe situations, we're working on temporary shelter that meets what people really need: safety, rest and a trusted face.

We're looking for collaboration with organisations, professionals and people with experience in shelter, youth care or LGBTQI+ well-being. Together we can create places where people can feel safe again.
